I researched the best and safest containers for food storage and these silicone snack containers by Kangde came up. I buy the large containers of yogurt and repackage into 5 single servings for the week. I was using a plastic container that was breaking down and actually found a piece of plastic in my food! That's when I knew it was time for a change.

These containers stack nicely when in use, or for storage, and wash up nicely- I put in the dishwasher. The lids fit perfectly. Now that I've found Kangde, I'll be ordering more sizes. Love them!

I use this product to freeze cooked rice. The size is perfect for 1 serving each, and keeps perfect moisture when microwave.
It is not good to keep the rice in the rice cooker long time, taste goes bad, get dryer, and concern about bacteria. So I used to plastic wrap and freeze 1 serving each. But using plastic wrap was very concerning as well about the environment and our health (heating up the plastic might melt it and stick to rice? And were we eating it without knowing?).
So this product cleared all the problems. I feel good for not disposing any plastic wraps, worry-free about micro-plastic on our food, and keeps rice taste good!
I will stitch all my plastic containers to silicone containers.

Ordering a second set because I use them for myself as well as kids lunches. Nice colors too. Just DO NOT wash them in the dishwasher or with strong smelling dish detergent or the smell stays.
